Pelham Memorial Day parade on Monday May 28th begins with line-up on the Esplanade in Pelham
Manor at Black Street at 11 AM. Parade start is at 11:30 AM. Memorial Day Ceremony is at
approximately 12:30 PM at Veterans Park on Fifth Avenue near Town Hall (34 Fifth Avenue). For
tenth consecutive year Pelham will host 70 US Navy and US Marine Corps members visiting New
York City area for Fleet Week.

SAL 50 College Football Players of the Year Award presented in honor Lt. Eugene Evans
and Lt. Col. Eli page Howard Jr, two Pelham natives who were members of the 1949
National Championship Morgan State College team and later died during military service
as Army officers. Above the Awards are presented to Army senior Steven Erzinger with
Head Caoch Rich Ellerson looking on and below Jamie Spanopoulos of the SUNY
Maritime College with head coach and Navy veteran Clayton Kendrick-Holmes.
